Fans in Argentina, where Lionel Messi hails from, admire the superstar so much they want to see him during their daily commute.
The Barcelona ace, who has over 100 caps with his national team, can be seen all over the Jose Hernandez underground station in Buenos Aires after it was recently refurbished with billboards, sculptures, and artwork honoring him, according to Marca.
The piece that stands out most is a statue of "La Pulga," which displays from every angle scenes of Messi's life, from his humble beginnings in Rosario where he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency, to overcoming it and becoming an international star.
