Canadian Brooke Henderson picked up her sixth career LPGA Tour win Saturday in Oahu, Hawaii, and immediately dedicated her victory to those affected by the Humboldt tragedy.
"There's also been a really bad accident that happened last week in Saskatchewan," she told Golf Channel after her round. "I was just trying to stay strong for them and I would like to dedicate this win to them as well."
The 20-year-old wasn't alone in honoring the victims of the accident. Her fellow Canadian golfers wore green and yellow ribbons, while some were making donations based on the number of birdies they made.
Henderson won the Lotte Championship by four shots.
