CBS Sports adds Michelle Wie to broadcast team
CBS Sports added Michelle Wie to bolster its broadcast team for the upcoming PGA Tour season, the network announced on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old, who recently stepped away from professional golf because of injuries, will contribute to CBS Sports' multimedia golf coverage, including the Masters.
The network also announced the hiring of 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman as an analyst.
In addition to those moves, Frank Nobilo has been promoted to a full-time analyst, and Dottie Pepper is now the lead on-course reporter. Mark Immelman, Trevor's brother, also received a promotion.
Hall-of-Famer Davis Love III was the first person CBS brought on as part of the roster overhaul. He was added as a full-time analyst in November shortly after longtime broadcasters Gary McCord and Peter Kostis didn't get renewed contracts for 2020.
