The Baltimore Orioles added some pitching depth Monday, claiming right-hander David Hale off waivers from the Colorado Rockies.
Hale, who was designated for assignment by the Rockies last week, will report to Triple-A Norfolk.
The 28-year-old compiled a 5-5 record with a 6.27 ERA over parts of two seasons with the Rockies. He has the ability to start or come out of the bullpen.
