The Atlanta Braves can't buy a win.
With a 3-0 loss to the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night, Atlanta fell to 0-8 to start the season for the third time in franchise history (1919, 1988).

"I'd just like to win a game," fiery Braves veteran A.J. Pierzynski said postgame. "I feel like we're playing well enough to win, it's just something's not there."
The Braves set a club record with 10 consecutive losses to begin the 1988 season and went on to drop 106 games that year.
Atlanta is still a long way from the major-league futility record, however. The 1988 Baltimore Orioles went winless in their first 21 games that year
The Braves, who will play their series finale with Washington on Thursday before heading to Miami for three games, are now 0-13 at Nationals Park since the beginning of 2015.
