On the pitch following a bench-clearing brawl spurred by a violent Jose Bautista slide, Toronto Blue Jays reliever Jesse Chavez was ejected for apparently throwing at Texas Rangers slugger Prince Fielder.

Chavez and acting manager DeMarlo Hale were ejected following the hit by pitch.
