Odor suspended 8 games for punching Bautista
Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor has been suspended eight games for punching Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista during Sunday's game, Major League Baseball announced Tuesday.
Odor is also expected to pay a fine of $5,000, Yahoo's Jeff Passan reports.
Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus also netted a one-game suspension for throwing a punch at Kevin Pillar, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Jeff Wilson.

The report also stated that no other Rangers are expected to earn suspensions, including right-hander Matt Bush, who started the whole fracas by drilling Bautista with a 96-mph fastball.
Prior to Monday's game against Oakland, Odor stood by his actions, stating he did what he did to defend himself.
"I know I'm going to be suspended for a couple games, but I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing," he said.
Heyman reports Odor plans to appeal the suspension.
