Watch: Reds' Simon strikes again with 54-mph eephus pitch

Every big leaguer will tell you they dream of hitting a batting practice-speed 54-mph pitch thrown right down the middle.
But only if they know it's coming.
Cincinnati Reds starter Alfredo Simon has mastered the eephus pitch, throwing it in unsuspecting counts. The right-hander, who sits at 93 mph with his fastball, has a history of flipping in the soft stuff every now and again.
He did it again Sunday against Seattle Mariners outfielder Shawn O'Malley. Not quite the same reaction Torii Hunter had when the pitch was thrown his way.
