Royals' Kendrys Morales: Tentatively in Sunday's lineup
Morales (finger) is listed as the designated hitter in Sunday's lineup against the White Sox, Rustin Dodd of The Kansas City Star reports.
Analysis:
Morales has been unavailable for the Royals' last three games due to the finger injury, and it's still possible that he'll end up being scratched from Sunday's lineup before first pitch. According to MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan, Morales will test out his finger while swinging during batting practice, and if all goes well, he'll remain in the lineup. We'll provide a follow-up note on Morales in the event manager Ned Yost ends up choosing to hold the slugger out.
