Steven Wright's knuckleball was hypnotizing on Monday and slugger Chris Davis fell under its spell.
Wright threw a knuckler so dazzling that it switched directions not once, but twice over the span of 60 feet, to the astonishment of the Baltimore Orioles' hulking first baseman.
The Boston Red Sox right-hander also managed to go the distance for his third complete game of the season, tying him with Chicago White Sox left-hander Chris Sale for the American League lead.
