Rougned Odor is beloved down in Texas.
The Rangers second baseman was reinstated Saturday after serving a seven-game ban for punching Jose Bautista on May 15, and was given a standing ovation from the fans at Globe Life Park in his first at-bat of the night against the Seattle Mariners.
Odor reciprocated the love shown by the Arlington crowd by slapping a 93-mph fastball into left field for a single on a 1-1 count:

Odor would come around to score in the next at-bat thanks to Ryan Rua's double.
