Fan hangs hat over railing to snag Cruz's HR ball

The eye-hat coordination on this guy is off the charts.
Nelson Cruz - also known as "Boomstick" to Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners fans - demolished a Derek Holland sinker in the fourth inning Sunday to the tune of 114 mph and 447 feet at Globe Life Park, according to Statcast. One Rangers fan didn't let the lack of a glove stop him from claiming a souvenir, as he leaned over the railing to catch the Mariners outfielder's center-field homer with only his hat.
What Statcast didn't measure, however, is just how much titanium that cap must be made of to pull that off.
Cruz's longball wasn't enough for Seattle, though, as Texas put up a three-spot in the fifth inning on the way to the 3-2 win.
