Kipnis' deadpan humor capped another good day for the Indians, who have now won a season-high eight straight games to extend their lead in the Central to five games over Kansas City.
Kipnis, who went 1-for-3 in Saturday's win over Detroit, assured fans his exit was nothing more than just general soreness, as later clarified by Hoynes.
No sickness, no cramping... Just tightened up! All good 👍🏻 #toomanytriples
