Astros' mascot performs hot-dog eating contest

The Fourth of July wasn't just about celebrating the Declaration of Independence for Houston Astros mascot Orbit on Monday.

Orbit was interested in getting his eat on.

The mascot performed a one-man eating contest in front of the crowd at Minute Maid Park, devouring what looked to be 15 dogs before he regurgitated what he had previously eaten.

Orbit had nothing on Joey Chestnut, who regained his hot-dog eating title Monday, downing 70 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes during a contest at Coney Island.
