Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb is having a breakout campaign and in the process has made the list of finalists in the MLB's Final Vote for the National League.

So naturally he's doing whatever he can to get some extra publicity in hopes of becoming an All-Star.

The 25-year-old was photographed by teammate Paul Goldschmidt in the team's clubhouse on Wednesday while walking a lamb with a "#VOTELAMB" t-shirt on.

The animal was later seen in Lamb's locker relaxing in a chair, wearing a sombrero.

As of Wednesday, Lamb the ball player sits fourth in the Final Vote tally behind San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt, Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte, and Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story.

Lamb is leading the Diamondbacks in most offensive categories including doubles (19), triples (7), home runs (19), RBIs (59), and slugging percentage (.617).
