David Ortiz knows how to hype up a crowd.
With his American League teammates listening attentively in the locker room prior to Tuesday's All-Star game, Ortiz attempted to light a fire under his team in true "Big Papi" manner.
"Tonight let's get out there and whoop some ass," Ortiz said. "Because you know, playing at home (in the World Series), there's nothing like playing at home."
Ortiz, a 10-time All-Star, is playing in the final All-Star game of his career as the Boston Red Sox slugger is retiring at the end of the season.
