Twins' Hector Santiago: Heading to Minnesota
Santiago was traded to the Twins on Monday for Ricky Nolasco and Alex Meyer, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Santiago has performed better of late, but his high walk rate (11 percent) and HR/9 (1.5/9) make him a volatile option at best. Still, he figures to slide straight into the Twins' rotation after notching a 4.25 ERA over 22 starts with the Angels this season.
