A's, Cubs to sport throwback jerseys for '80s retro night

Prior to the Oakland Athletics hosting a 1980s retro event Saturday - fittingly known as "Turn Back the Clock" - against the Chicago Cubs, the team announced Friday both squads will dress in throwback uniforms for the occasion.

The jerseys look pretty snazzy.

Also as part of the promotion, Oakland will be giving Billy Ball retro T-shirts to the first 15,000 fans in attendance.

The retro night is just one of many interesting ones thrown by the Athletics this season, which have also included Sean Doolittle Metallica Gnome Night, a Hello Kitty Bobblehead Night, and their 17th annual Root Beer Float Day.
