Watch: Soler smacks HR in 1st AB since coming off DL

Jorge Soler didn't need much time to do some serious damage.
The Chicago Cubs outfielder, who was activated from the 15-day-disabled list Friday after missing two months with a hamstring issue, clobbered a three-run home run into the left-field stands off Oakland Athletics left-hander Dillon Overton during his first at-bat of the evening.
Prior to his return, the 24-year-old Cuban slugger owned a .223/.322/.377 hitting line with five home runs and 13 RBIs in 152 plate appearances.
He should provide an already impressive Cubs lineup with another offensive weapon as they seek their first World Series victory since 1908. The Cubs currently lead baseball with 66 wins and a .617 win percentage.
