Correa, Blackmon take home Player of the Week honors

Carlos Correa of the Houston Astros and Charlie Blackmon of the Colorado Rockies earned Player of the Week honors for their respective leagues on Monday.
Correa had an extraordinary week at the plate, earning the award for the American League while hitting .429/.467/.857 with 12 RBIs, six extra-base hits and six runs scored for the Astros, who have also been getting big production from Correa's double-play partner Jose Altuve.
In the National League, Blackmon earned the honor after closing out the week with a record-setting series against the Philadelphia Phillies, which included five home runs, an all-time club best.
Over the course of the week, the 30-year-old Blackmon hit .563/.600/1.313 with 13 runs scored, seven home runs, and nine RBIs.
