Marlins' A.J. Ramos: Dealing with jammed finger
Ramos is dealing with a jammed right middle finger and is considered day-to-day, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis:
Ramos was available to pitch Monday during the 14-inning loss to the Giants, but he ended up being the only unused pitcher left in the bullpen as manager Don Mattingly erred on the side of caution. The 29-year-old did, however, pick up his 32nd save Friday while dealing with the same finger injury. That was his last appearance; Fernando Rodney was tasked with Sunday's save chance.
