Coghlan rips game-tying hit on botched attempt to call time

Chris Coghlan wasn't close to ready, but he still got the job done in a big way.
With the Chicago Cubs down 2-0 to the St. Louis Cardinals in the sixth inning Thursday, Coghlan stepped to the dish, but as the first pitch was delivered his way, he tried to call time.
Despite the fact he stepped out of the box, the home plate umpire didn't give it to him, and his emergency hack turned into a two-RBI rope to right field to tie up the game.
The unlikely heroics helped pave the way for the Cubs' 4-3 come-from-behind win in 11 innings.
