Somehow, some way, Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman managed to stay in the game Thursday against the Arizona Diamondbacks after taking a nasty-looking spill over a railing and toppling into a set of seats.
The awkward fall left Freeman on his backside and dangling over the set of hard plastic chairs after he tried to reach for a foul ball heading into the stands.
Freeman would later step to the plate and deliver a go-ahead RBI single to give the Braves a 1-0 lead.
That's the definition of taking one for the team.
