Watch: Team USA gymnast front flips into 1st pitch

If throwing creative first pitches was an Olympic gymnastics event, this one would have surely brought home yet another medal for the United States.

Before the Texas Rangers took on the Cleveland Indians at Globe Life Park Sunday afternoon, Team USA gymnast Ragan Smith - who lives in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex - displayed her unique athletic skills by front-flipping and contorting her body as part of a spectacular ceremonial first pitch.

Smith, 16, was one of three alternates on the U.S. women's gymnastics team in Rio.
