Yoan Moncada looks ready for the big leagues.
The highly touted Boston Red Sox prospect lived up to his billing Saturday, striking immediately in his first MLB start. The 21-year-old ripped a double down the left-field line in the third inning off Oakland Athletics starter Daniel Mengden to record his first big-league hit and RBI on the same play.
Moncada, baseball's No.1 prospect according to MLBPipeline.com, didn't waste any time getting home to score, as Jackie Bradley Jr. plated the rookie with a line-drive single in the very next at-bat.
