Watch: Yadier Molina salutes brother Bengie after ripping HR
With his brother Bengie in the broadcast booth at Busch Stadium on Thursday, St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina ripped a home run into the left field stands off Cincinnati Reds pitcher Dan Straily.
The younger Molina presumably had a lot on his mind - the Cardinals are neck and neck with the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants for the two wild-card spots in the National League - but didn't forget to send some brotherly love the way of his sibling as he trotted the bases.
As Yadier rounded third, he saluted Bengie - who made the home run call in Spanish - by looking up to the booth, pumping both fists, and pointing in his direction.
Yadier, Bengie, and Jose Molina have combined to catch 3,778 big-league games, winning ten Gold Gloves between them.
