MLB #postseason hashtag roundup

The MLB playoffs are upon us, which means you're going to need an arsenal of appropriate team hashtags and catchphrases for your social media.

For now, focus your anxieties on Game 163 because we've got you covered. Naturally, each team's hashtag is accompanied by the appropriate emoji - like the Cubs' "W" flag. Even #postseason and #WildCard are accompanied by emojis.

Here's how to represent your team and claim social superiority over the #otherguys in the 2016 postseason:

Toronto Blue Jays

#OurMoment

Blue Jays fans used #ComeTogether to get the team to the postseason in 2015, and to become MLB's second most followed team to open the 2016 season with 1.3 million followers. To continue the momentum in 2016, the team encouraged social users to embrace #OurMoment, which is accompanied by a maple leaf emoji because #Canada. Not to be confused with the fragrance by pop group One Direction, though.

Baltimore Orioles

#Birdland

The Orioles' hashtag boasts a bird logo after making the bold claim of ownership of Birdland and its fans, despite not being the only birds in the league. The showdown will be especially alive when the O's play visitor at the Blue Jays' nest Tuesday night for the wild-card game.

New York Mets

#LGM

A throwback to the 1986 World Series champion Mets' rally song - "Let's Go Mets!" - #LGM pays tribute to the last time the New York club took the title. The 2015 National League champs are fighting for a chance to make it happen again after falling to the Kansas City Royals last year.

San Francisco Giants

#BeliEVEN

It's an even-numbered year, and we all know that means the Giants will be in hot pursuit of another title - it's just what they do. The World Series champions in 2010, 2012, and 2014 will need to take down the Mets in the wild-card game if they want to keep the trend alive.

Chicago Cubs

#FlyTheW

The only team to reach 100-plus wins on the season has flown the "W" flag at Wrigley Field plenty of times over the course of the year. Every #FlyTheW hashtag is accompanied by a mini "W" flag to tweet the Cubs all the way to their first World Series title since 1908.

Texas Rangers

#NeverEverQuit

Okay, this isn't a reference to the amazing postseason-exclusive sandwich being offered at Globe Life Park. The Rangers have been using the #NeverEverQuit slogan since 2015, when Mike Napoli returned to the team in August and helped push the Rangers to a late-season surge they hadn't seen since the opening week. The two-time AL West winners have never ever won a World Series title, so don't quit now, boys.

Cleveland Indians

#RallyTogether

Can the Indians capitalize on the city's good fortune started by the NBA's Cavaliers earlier this year? LeBron James' reign ended the curse over Cleveland after 52 years. The last professional sports team before that to win a championship was the NFL's Browns in 1964, and the Indians haven't won a World Series title since 1948.

Los Angeles Dodgers

#LALovesOctober

They do! It's true. Not only does Los Angeles boast the October weather most teams dream about, but the Dodgers will want to put last season's first-round playoff exit behind them.

Washington Nationals

#OnePursuit

The franchise, as both the Montreal Expos and the relocated Nationals, has never captured anything beyond an East Division title. The Expos did it in 1981, and the Nationals have done it three times in the last four years, but the #OnePursuit is baseball's ultimate prize - a trip to the World Series. The team is asking fans to show up wearing red at Nationals Park. If Washington can make it to the end, they'll leave the Seattle Mariners behind as the only team to have never played in a World Series.

Boston Red Sox

#WinDanceRepeat

It only seems natural that the Red Sox carry their celebratory AL East dominance (and subsequent outfield postgame dancing) into the postseason, with their hashtag followed by a pair of red dancing shoes sox.
