Cleveland hotel tips cap to midges for 2007 ALDS win over Yankees
If you're headed to Cleveland to watch the Indians take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League Championship Series, expect to see some bugs.
Ahead of Friday's series, some hotel-goers in the area were greeted by a sign advising them to take the necessary precautions to avoid letting midges in their rooms.
But this wasn't just any letter.

If you're wondering what the letter is in reference to, it recalls Game 2 of the 2007 ALDS against the New York Yankees, when Joba Chamberlain was absolutely swarmed by midges.
Despite numerous attempts to get rid of the bugs via bug spray, Chamberlain was literally covered with midges. The distraction proved costly, as he would throw a wild pitch to score the tying run in the eighth, before the Indians eventually won in the 11th inning.
