Jerry Lai / USA TODAY Sports
Anthony Rizzo has a date with a piece of Chicago Cubs history.
After securing the final out of Game 6 of the NLCS that clinched the Cubs' first World Series berth since 1945, Rizzo said he has special celebratory plans with the baseball.
"Do I still have it? I'm sleeping with this thing tonight," Rizzo said postgame. "Are you kidding me? We're going to the World Series."
