Look: Chicago celebrates Cubs' 1st pennant in 71 years
Party like it's 1945, Chicago.
The North Side of the Windy City waited 71 years for this moment, and when Anthony Rizzo squeezed the final out Saturday night and the Cubs were National League champions once again, it set off a party the likes of which hadn't been seen for decades.
Fans young and old - especially the elder generations who'd waited much of their lives to see this moment come again - took to the streets around Wrigley Field and throughout Chicago in sheer joy.
Here's a look at Cubs fans' celebrations across Chicago - and across the United States - in photos.
