It's been 68 years since the Cleveland Indians won the World Series - if you're an Indians fan, and you weren't alive in 1948, cherish this film.
Footage of Cleveland winning its 1948 title was unearthed and shared by the team's always outrageous Twitter account on Sunday. The film's soundtrack features interviews with members of the team, including Hall of Famers Larry Doby and Lou Boudreau, the shortstop and manager, respectively.
Cleveland defeated the Boston Braves in six games to win its second and most recent title. In the clinching 4-3 victory at Braves Field, second baseman Joe Gordon hit the game-winning homer, while Bob Lemon tossed 7 1/3 innings for the victory.
