Lester plunks HBP-machine Guyer with bases loaded
Once the Cleveland Indians started getting on base, Jon Lester unraveled.
The Chicago Cubs left-hander was bitten hard by the small-ball bug in the first inning of the World Series. First, Jose Ramirez's swinging bunt landed in no-man's land, bringing home Francisco Lindor from third base. Then, with the bases still full, Lester hit major-league HBP-king Brandon Guyer to plate run No. 2.

Guyer, who was acquired by the Indians at the trade deadline from Tampa Bay, was hit by 31 pitches this season to lead the league for a second straight year. Interestingly, this was the first time he's been hit by a pitch this postseason.
