Indians fan cuts class for game, gets great response from professor

An Ohio University professor had the best response after learning that one of their students had skipped class to attend Game 1 of the World Series.
Charles Turner, a Cleveland Indians fan, showed up to class Tuesday to hand in an assignment, and then ducked out in time to go watch the game. He shared screenshots on Twitter of the email conversation between him and his professor, R. Damian Nance, who was much more understanding after learning the reason behind Turner's absence:

There are few times when a sporting event will suffice as an excuse to skip class, but Cleveland's first World Series game since 1997 is definitely one of them.
