For the first time in what seems like forever, the Chicago Cubs made Andrew Miller look human.
Catcher David Ross hit a solo shot off the Cleveland Indians reliever in the top of the sixth inning to give his team a 6-3 lead in Game 7 of the World Series - the last game of his 15-year career in the majors.
The 39-year-old became the oldest player in World Series history to hit a home run since Eddie Murray in 1995, and the oldest player in league history to go deep in Game 7 of a World Series.
Miller gave up four hits for the first time since becoming a reliever in 2012, according to ESPN Stats & Info, and Ross' long ball was only the second home run Miller has given up since Aug. 14.
