Wilson handed out awards to its top defensive players of 2016 on Friday. The San Francisco Giants received the honors as the best defensive team of 2016 after posting the third-most defensive runs saved with 50, while Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts - who led all of baseball with 32 defensive runs saved - was named overall Defensive Player of the Year, his first Wilson award.
