Watch: Japanese star Otani launches ball into Tokyo Dome roof

Shohei Otani isn't your everyday pitcher.
The Japanese sensation, widely regarded as the best pitcher in Japan, is 10-4 this season with a 1.84 ERA for the Nippon Ham Fighters, but pitching isn't his only forte.
Otani can also swing it a little.
A home run derby champion in the Japanese professional league, he has 22 homers this season in 104 games, and it would've been 23 if it weren't for this.
Going up against former big leaguer Jair Jurrgens, Otani hit a ball so high that it left the Tokyo Dome. What would've been a home run anywhere else was a ground-rule double.
What a shame it would be to see Otani end up with an American League team.
