Watch: Popular Phillies vendor involved in white-nationalism skirmish
Emily Youcis, a popular Philadelphia Phillies snack vendor known as "Pistachio Girl" around Citizens Bank Park, found herself in the middle of an ugly fracas Saturday about three blocks from the White House, as she attempted to interview protesters outside a white-nationalism conference she was attending.
Protesters spray-painted Youcis' hair as she fended off verbal attacks outside the conference, held by the National Policy Institute - dubbed a white-supremacist group by the Southern Poverty Law Center - before police intervened.

Youcis, a Phillies vendor since 2010, confirmed Sunday on Twitter that she was "more than OK" following the incident, assuring her followers she "didn't even get any flesh wounds."
Youcis added that she's been enthralled with the so-called alt-right movement - associated with white supremacy, facism, and xenophobia - for about 10 months.
"White Americans have been vilified in the media," she told Will Bunch of Philly.com "We want to stand up for white America - we’re the backbone of this country, the white working-class people."
