Gone are the days of breaking in a glove with a little bit of oil and an elastic band.
Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts received a new mitt Tuesday and had it broken in by Wilson glove expert Shigeaki Aso, who used a small bat-shaped mallet and some elbow grease to get things just right.
