Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: MRI comes back clean
Kazmir underwent an MRI for his hip on Tuesday and the results showed nothing structurally wrong, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
This is good news for both parties, as Kazmir has been bothered by tightness in his left hip before. He spent the offseason addressing mechanics that have caused him issues, and he'll continue to do exercises designed to increase his flexibility in hopes of preventing this issue from happening again. The 33-year-old doesn't have a timetable for his return yet, but manager Dave Roberts said he'll have to throw a successful bullpen session before he is given a possible date for his next start.
