Watch: Cabrera hilariously gives up during spring rundown

Sometimes, it's just not worth it.

On Thursday, New York Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera got caught in a rundown against the Detroit Tigers after getting picked off by Anibal Sanchez.

But, instead of wasting his time, or energy, Cabrera nonchalantly ran off the base path toward the dugout after briefly partaking in the pickle.

Maybe he had something more important to do, like get prepared for his next at-bat, which turned out to be his second hit of the afternoon.
