Angels' Cam Bedrosian: Scoreless in spring debut
Bedrosian tossed a scoreless inning in his first appearance of spring Thursday, allowing one hit while striking out two and walking one.
Analysis:
The hard-throwing right-hander was slowed at the start of spring with a minor groin injury, but that appears to be in his past as he got through his first outing of spring with no issues. Now that he's healthy, the 25-year-old will look to stake his claim for the closer job with Huston Street (lat) questionable for Opening Day. Andrew Bailey is still in mix for the closer role, but Bedrosian is considered the front-runner.
