Twitter reacts to controversial Kinsler homering in WBC final
Ian Kinsler let his bat do the talking in the early innings of the World Baseball Classic final after his earlier comments about the celebratory way the Puerto Rican and Dominican teams play the game compared to Americans caused quite a stir.
The United States second baseman opened the scoring in the third inning with a two-run homer off Puerto Rico starter Seth Lugo to give the Americans an early 2-0 lead.
Twitter reacted quickly to the blast as a stoic Kinsler rounded the bases:
Ian Kinsler's accountant-like demeanor rounding the bases on that home run is going to draw kids to baseball by the tens.
