Despite an emotional 8-0 loss to the United States in the final of the World Baseball Classic, the entire Puerto Rico team remained on the field during the postgame celebrations in order to offer congratulations to its rivals.
Puerto Rico had gone undefeated before its loss in the championship game. It's the second straight time the country has finished runner-up at the tournament.
