Eric Gagne's performance for Team Canada at the World Baseball Classic may lead to a reunion with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The 41-year-old has been talking to the Dodgers about a minor-league deal, he told Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith.
Gagne also told Nicholson-Smith that two other teams are "really interested," but that he's focused on getting a deal done with the Dodgers.
The right-hander touched 93 mph with his fastball during the WBC, striking out two in 2 1/3 innings.
Gagne spent eight seasons with the Dodgers from 1999-2006, winning the Cy Young in 2003.
He last played in the majors in 2008 with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Over the course of his 10-year career, Gagne appeared in 402 games, recording a 3.47 ERA along with 187 saves.
