Orioles' Chris Tillman: Opens on DL, as expected

Tillman (right shoulder bursitis) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to March 30.

Analysis:

Tillman was fully expected to open the season on the DL, as the right-hander is currently targeting an early-May return date. He threw a successful bullpen session Saturday and has another one currently scheduled for Monday.
