Lagares (oblique) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
Analysis:
Lagares strained his oblique in late March and will not be ready for Opening Day. His DL designation is retroactive to March 30, so he'll be eligible to return as soon as April 9. Michael Conforto and Ty Kelly will serve as the team's reserve outfielders in the meantime.
