Watch: Almora Jr. robs Cardinals of game-tying home run
Jeff Curry / USA TODAY Sports
Chicago Cubs rookie center fielder Albert Almora Jr. tracked a deep fly from Matt Adams all the way back to the wall in Busch Stadium before making a leaping grab, depriving the St. Louis Cardinals of tying the game in the seventh inning.
Adams, who was called upon as a defensive replacement after Stephen Piscotty was removed from the game following a freakish fifth inning, gave due credit to Almora with a tip of the cap from second base.
