Baseball certainly isn't having any issues making money.

The average worth of a Major League Baseball team is $1.54 billion, according to Mike Ozanian of Forbes, who reports the annual worth of a franchise in the big leagues has increased by 19 percent.

Values increased because of new local television deals, the rising value of MLB Advanced Media, and overall growth in profitability, reports Forbes.

Among the most valuable teams in the game are the New York Yankees ($3.7 billion), the Los Angeles Dodgers ($2.75 billion), and the Boston Red Sox ($2.7 billion).

RANK TEAM VALUE
1 New York Yankees $3.7B
2 Los Angeles Dodgers 2.75B
3 Boston Red Sox $2.7B
4 Chicago Cubs $2.675B
5 San Francisco Giants $2.65B
6 New York Mets $2B
7 St. Louis Cardinals $1.8B
8 Los Angeles Angels $1.75B
9 Philadelphia Phillies $1.65B
10 Washington Nationals $1.6B

The Tampa Bay Rays, Oakland Athletics, and Cincinnati Reds are among the least valuable franchises in baseball, with all three coming in under $1 billion in worth.
