The New York Mets have enjoyed a nice early return on their $110-million investment.
Yoenis Cespedes moved into a tie for the major-league lead in home runs with his fifth of the year Thursday when he absolutely demolished a 427-foot shot over the wall in left center at Marlins Park.
Cespedes' solo homer in the third inning off Miami starter Wei-Yin Chen came off the bat at 107 mph and was his fourth home run in his last three games.
