Watch: Safeco gives Ichiro standing ovations in 1st visit with Marlins

No matter what jersey he has on, Ichiro Suzuki will always be beloved by Seattle Mariners fans.
In his first visit to Safeco Field as a member of the Miami Marlins, the crowd at Safeco Field showered the Japanese legend in applause during his first at-bat.
Ichiro also received another raucous ovation pregame when he posed with Mariners brass for a photo while walking out on a special red carpet.

Ichiro played 12 seasons for the Mariners between 2001-12, amassing 2,533 hits with the club while also winning MVP and Rookie of the Year honors in his debut season.
